Rustic Pool House built by Green Guys in St. Louis, MO using recycled barn wood. · · ·

Project Details

This 11 acre lot was a tough test for the design team at Green Guys, headed up lead designer and landscape architect Eric Ringhofer.

The challenge was to incorporate the natural drama of the landscape atop this modest mountain in Wildwood, MO, while incorporating a custom pool, accented by naturally flowing streams and waterfalls, seating areas, and a log cabin pool house, all while dealing with the steep slope of the backyard.

With the touch of a true designer, Eric and Green Guys mixed various plant specimens to create the perfect balance of color, texture, and structure while maintaining the free flowing, organic, natural feel of the landscape with running streams, several waterfalls, and large boulders tucked around this custom pool design.

By incorporating terraced patios donned with fire pits and lounge chairs and a log cabin pool house, the space offers plenty of comfortable seating for family and friends despite the lot's sloping landscape.

With a hot tub tucked up next to the house amidst several hundred square feet of patio space and a custom masonry bar and grill, this outdoor space is a true extension of the home 365 days a year.

There was nothing here but a steep hill so we don't have many before pictures. If we track any down, we'll be sure to add them.
